OUR STORY
Born and bred in Pembrokeshire, and keen campers ourselves, we decided that in 2023 we wanted to take on a new challenge and give Pembrokeshire a brand new camping experience. We are Chloe and Neal, we have 5 children who range in ages, so we understand the difficulties families face with trying to please everyone when going on holiday. Before we met Neal was living off grid on 30 acres of land, were he enjoyed getting back to nature, this was always something he was passionate about. So when he met me in a modern townhouse he had to make a massive sacrifice, giving up something he loved so much, obviously I won that one. After a year we soon realised that we needed the outdoor space and freedom that he once had so our mission was to accomplish this again. To be honest I was never one for camping until I met Neal and he showed me a different way of traveling and living. I was the type of girl that would much prefer to jet off to an all inclusive resort in the sunshine for a week. HOW TIMES CHANGE!
Neal has been a postman in Pembrokeshire for over 30 years and I currently work for the NHS. We have both always strived for more and what better way than to start a business we are both passionate about, something we have great passion for. CAMPING. We are keen travellers and love to explore the world but have realised over the years how beautiful our home county is and what is has to offer.
After months of looking for a home with land for our family we realised that something was still missing. A few months went by and one day I came across this beautiful barn conversion with acres of land. It was already a campsite but needed a lot of work. The foot was on the gas and we booked a viewing. We never looked back. It was a long, long 8 months of solid graft to get our DREAM across the line.
But we FINALY DID IT
And this is where our journey begins…
Our mission for this campsite is to make sure that adults and children of all ages have an affordable and enjoyable stay with us and our surrounding county.
